Welcome to the first official "GWRRA Practice in the Parking Lot" with the Chapter D Fun Bunch.

While many of us have spent time practicing our riding skills such as U-Turns, figure 8's, and parking lot lane to lane turns. This type of practice can always be enhanced. This event will look to add to your education on what works, and what doesn't. Remember that the best figure 8 is obtained when you keep your eyes 4 feet above the turns.. Just an example. Our chapter has not held an official GWRRA type of practice event. So now is the time to make it happen.

Prior to our November Chapter D "Fun Bunch" monthly meeting we will host the practice event in the old ACME Market parking lot. This lot is located at the corner of Farnsworth Avenue, and RT 130 in Bordentown City. This is directly across from the McDonalds restaurant in Bordentown. We will be meeting at 2:00PM on November 21st to setup the event. Then start the event at 2:30PM. This will allow for practice time and then to ride the short distance to the Iron Skillet for our monthly meeting.

Remember all bikes are welcome, including trikes.

If the weather requires a rain date, please check back to D-Notes for an update.

See you there.....

Parking Lot Practice For

Parking Lot Practice

For those of you who didn't make it you really missed a good time of practice in the parking lot.  We did weaving, stopping in a curve, sharp curves,Higher speed turns, optical swerves.  We even jump started Terri trike and still had a lot of fun.  Thank you Steve, Terri and Lloyd this was good practice for me to refresh my skills.

Thanks
