Gail from Project Linus is one very dedicated woman. I found out that our youth blankets will be going to two different family shelters where they are desparately needed. , Many of the children are ages 8 and above, so there is a large need for the 1 1/2 yard fleece blankets. The baby blankets and toddler blankets will be distributed elsewhere at hospitals and other shelters. She provided me with labels for the blankets, and will be coming to our January meeting. It's not too late to bring a blanket. We'll be washing all the blankets, sorting by size and bagging them for her. So please let us know if you have any that you'd like to contribute so that they will be ready to be delivered by her. A heartfelt thank you to all who have contributed to this project.
